I love seeing my books in the wild, so I was absolutely thrilled to see a giant stuffed monkey reviewing my book THE GIRL’S GUIDE TO CAMPFIRE ACTIVITIES. Apparently, she’s training for an overnight hike on the Appalachian Trail, and decided to show the kids she lives with some of the tricks she learned while reading my book.

The Girls’ Guide to Campfire Activities just received a nice review from School Library Journal (or, check it out on Barnes & Noble’s page, if you have trouble finding it on SLJ’s website). Here’s an excerpt:
